Eligibility Criteria for Industrial/Mining Workers.
- A worker must work in an industrial/mining establishment which is registered under
factories Act 1934 of the Labour Department/Mining Act 1923. - The application must be submitted within 12 months from the date of death.
- The deceased worker must be registered EOBI / SESSI department.
- Only the legal heirs of deceased worker can apply death grant compensation
Note:
An Industrial/Mining Worker can get a marriage grant for all his daughters (who are at least 18
years old at the time of marriage) provided all the eligibility criteria are met at the time of marriage.
If both the father and the mother are workers / workers, one of them is entitled to get a marriage
grant for his daughter.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Attested copies of NADRA Identity Cards of applicant worker (father/mother) and the bride.
- Marriage Registration Certificate from NADRA
- Attested copy of the EOBI or Social Security Card.
- Letter of confirmation of employment by the employer.
- Certificate from the employer verifying the particulars furnished by the worker,
- An affidavit duly attested by the Notary Public or Oath Commissioner that the particulars given
by the applicant are correct and if found wrong, he/she will refund in double amount received as
Grant in aid. - Disability certificate in case of disabled worker.
- Applicant must fulfill the definition of “Worker” as described in SWWF Act 2014
INSTRUCTION & GUIDELINES.
- The application forms are distributed and collected at the concerned Regional Offices of
Workers Welfare Board Sindh. - The initial scrutiny is carried out by the Welfare Section of the concerned Region.
- The application forms are placed before the scrutiny committee for final recommendation.
- The approved list is sent to head office of Workers Welfare Board Sindh for approval of
payment through the bank accounts of the applicants. - After the payment a letter is sent to the management requesting to provide the list of employees
who have received payment from the Workers Welfare Board Sindh. - A workers can apply for this scheme who fulfils the following criteria.
