About Workers Welfare Board Sindh
Workers Welfare Board Sindh (WWBS) is a body corporate established under the Sindh Worker Welfare Fund Act 2014. The Minister Labour & Human Resources Department, Government of Sindh is its Chairman, Workers Welfare Board Sindh. It is led by a Governing Body comprising representatives of the Government, Workers and Employers. WWBS provides a holistic package of services to industrial workers, which includes provision of Marriage Grants, Death Grants, Talent Scholarships, establishment & maintenance of Labour Colonies and establishment & operations of Workers Model Welfare Schools & Colleges in various districts of Sindh.

FUNTIONS:
- Development / Construction of Flats and Houses.
- Free of cost quality education to workers’ children.
- Providing benefit facility for Uniforms, Shoes, Books & Bags amounting Rs. 10,000/-
per child. - Grant in Aid for marriage of worker’s daughters @ Rs. 200,000/- each.
- Financial aid to Legal heirs of the deceased worker @ Rs. 700,000/- each.
- Post Matric Scholarships for workers’ children.
To strive for the SOCIO-ECONOMIC Welfare of workers of the province of Sindh by providing Housing facilities, Modern Education, Financial Assistance, (Grant-in-Aid for Marriage, Death & Scholarships).
The main objective of the Board is to facilitate the industrial workers by providing them free of cost Modern Education, Scholarships, Death Grant, Grant-in-Aid for Marriage and state of the art Housing Facilities in order to help them Acquire Socio-Economics prosperity and development
Workers Welfare Board Sindh provides a wide range of welfare services and schemes designed specifically for industrial workers and their dependents.

Organizational Structure
Workers Welfare Board Sindh is governed by a 13-member Board headed by the Honourable Minister for Labour & Human Resources Department, Government of Sindh as Chairperson.
