MISSION
The Mission of Directorate of Works of Workers Welfare Board Sindh, is to provide shelters to the shelter less industrial workers by establishing Labour Colonies and provide free education to the children of industrial workers by establishing Workers Welfare Schools, across the Sindh.

- Present backlog.
- As to what extent proposed project will meet the housing demand.
- Total population of registered/ un-registered workers (town/district wise).
- Total number of registered industrial establishments/their registered workers strength within 10 to 15 Km radius of project area.
- Constructed Site 10 to 15 KM radius of around the Industrial Area.
Technical Information
Site Selection Criteria information on:
- Whether land already available or not?
- Map showing location of site
- Whether the scheme is part of the Master plan of the City/Town
- Availability of following primary services:
- Roads/transportation links
- Water supply
- Sewerage/ drainage
- Electricity
- Gas

- Availability of land (to be confirmed)
- Map showing location of site
- Total number of registered industrial establishments/their registered workers strength within 10 to 15 Km radius of project area (Statistics to be obtained from EOBI/ Social Security Institution (SESSI)
