OVERVIEW

The Directorate of Education has established a network of English medium Workers’ Model/Primary Schools & Intermediate Colleges in various districts of Sindh.

These schools & colleges are situated at different locations in the province and providing free of cost quality education to boys and girls children of industrial workers & general public from pre-primary to secondary & higher secondary level.

The Directorate of Education not only provides free of cost education to workers students but also providing educational facilities in shape of cash at Rs. 10,000/= per workers child for getting education in schools and colleges of WWBS.

The Directorate of Education, WWBS continues to expand its coverage by upgrading the existing schools to higher level and establishing new schools & colleges for workers children.

VISION

Our education system should:
Help to develop the analytical powers of individuals

understanding the underlying forces that determine material and human resource
To bread not only intelligent spectator catalyst in the production of material good but
also well-equipped participants capable of enduring the challenges of globalization
Define cultural activities as not only providing intellectual education but also as allowing
all forms of artistic expression through music, drama, painting, sculpture, architecture etc

MISSION

Provision of free quality education to the workers children in the best possible educational
environment by adopting the most modern teaching techniques / methodologies with
English as the medium of instructions.
