Workers Welfare Board Sindh

Eligibility Criteria for Industrial/Mining Workers.

  • The applicant’s age should be between 50 years and not exceed 60 years.
  • The applicant must be registered with the Social Security Institution (SESSI) or EOBI.
  • The applicant should be working in a registered institution under the Factories Act, 1934,
    or the Shops and Establishments Ordinance, 1963.
  • The applicant must possess a valid computerized national identity card (CNIC) and a
    passport issued in the past five years from 2019 to 2024.
  • The applicant must provide an affidavit stating that they have not performed Hajj in the
    last five years from 2019 to 2024.
  • The applicant should not have received any financial assistance from the Workers
    Welfare Board under the Hajj scheme in any previous year.
  • The applicant will bear any additional costs on their own.

Note:
“The Workers Welfare Board Sindh sends 12 people for Hajj every year, including 10 industrial
workers from various districts. These include 5 from Karachi, 2 from Hyderabad, 2 from Sukkur,
and 1 from Larkana, as well as 2 of the most senior employees of the Workers Welfare Board
Sindh.”

INSTRUCTION & REQUIRED DOCUMENTS.

  • Attested copies of NADRA Identity Cards.
  • Attested copy of the EOBI or Social Security Card.
  • Letter of confirmation of employment by the employer.
  • Attested copy of the Factory Card.
  • Photocopy of the readable passport of the applicant.
  • Certificate from the employer verifying the particulars furnished by the worker.
  • An affidavit duly attested by the Notary Public or Oath Commissioner that the particulars given
    by the applicant are correct and if found wrong,
